PERSONAL CARE

Personal Care Attendants are available to provide assistance with activities of daily living such as: personal hygiene assistance, restroom assistance, bathing, dressing and grooming.

 

MEAL PLANNING AND PREPARATION

Many seniors have dietary restrictions and often consume a larger amount of salty or sweet foods, therefore we assist with planning, preparing and cleaning up meals.

 

LAUNDRY

We understand that as your love one ages their level of energy diminishes making this task overwhelming.

 

LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING

We provide these services to assist in maintaining a safe environment by making the bed, changing linens, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and taking out the garbage.

 

COMPANIONSHIP

We understand that working children are not always able to visit as often which can lead to becoming isolated.  Personal Care Assistants assist your loved one by acccompanying them to a movie, taking them to visit other friends, to the library or even in the garden.

 

SHOPPING, ERRANDS AND INCIDENTAL TRANSPORTATION

We assist your loved one by running errands, such as:  going to the post office, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions, dropping off and picking up dry cleaning.  We also provide the necessary transportation  to doctors appointmnents, hair appointments or escorting them to church and other social activities in the community.  

 

MEDICAL REMINDERS

We assist with self-administered medications by reminding your loved one of when to take them. 

 

NOTE: We do not administer or touch the medication.  

 

RESPITE CARE

This service is provided for someone to stay with your loved one to allow the caregiver to get a break
